Daylong Retreats
The Three Marks of Existence
a daylong meditation retreat with London Insight Meditation
November 25th 10am-4pm
How do aniccā (impermanence), anattā (no-self) and dukkha (suffering) relate to each other and why did the Buddha place them so centrally in his teachings?
How can we understand and feel these – not as concepts, but in a direct and embodied way? How does the way in which we feel these – infused with an atmosphere of sacredness – inform our experience?
And how does an embodied experience of the sacredness of impermanence, no-self and suffering lead to liberation?
During this daylong retreat we will move fluidly between practice and teaching, sitting, stretching and walking, indoor and outdoor, silence and dyads, with time for questions and enquiry. There will be the option to remain in silence over lunch or share and connect at that time.
Everyone is welcome.
