Embracing Challenging Emotions

Online: 7-8am GMT, December 11th-15th

A week of five Daily Meditations on the Sangha Live online dharma platform.

Each hour-long practice includes 15 minutes of Dharma teaching, 30 minutes meditation and 15 minutes interactive Q&A.

There are no negative emotions, only ones that we find challenging to embrace, like anxiety, anger, grief and fear. When we relate to them in distorted ways, their expression is indeed negative. Over this week (at a time of year where they may be particularly triggered!) we will explore how to come into a sacred relationship with each of these challenging emotions.

This event is offered on a dana basis.

We recommend you register in advance using the link below.
Replays will be posted in Sangha Live’s dharma library for viewers in other time zones.

Please note: a percentage of any dana offered through the Sangha Live website goes to the dharma teacher which is active at that time, so will not connect to the right teacher if you are following an archived practice. If you would like to offer dana to me for archived offerings, please do so here.

Living in Sacredness

June 26-30 2023

Meditation is more than a practice of being present. The way in which we are present determines whether we reinforce habits of separation, or re-weave the fabric of sacredness. During this week we will explore how it feels to come into reciprocal, sacred relationship in all directions. A sacred relationship is one which is imbued with curiosity, kindness, wonder and reverence. It is also reciprocal: through exploring the sacredness of body, breath, consciousness and emotions, we discover the naturalness of appropriate response. We plant seeds of Love in a world of separation.

The Body is Sacred.
The Breath is Sacred.
The Mind is Sacred.
Emotions are Sacred.
In Sacredness, Love Responds.
