Living in Love
Embodying Ancient Practices in Everyday Life
February 25th 1.30-4.30pm (BOOK NOW)
March 25th 1.30-4.30pm (booking opening soon)
You’ve been to yoga classes, sung in kirtan, swam in cold water, surrendered to ceremony and sat in meditation. You’ve experienced your body more grounded and alert; your mind more relaxed and spacious. You’ve felt your heart crack open. But then you step back into a conversation with your partner, parent, child or colleague and feel the contractions and collapse of reactivity return.
How do we create a bridge between these ancient practices and our everyday lives? The answer lies in a willingness to discover the strength of vulnerability. To feel more and more of life through this wide open heart without suppressing or losing ourselves inside it. To recognise where we go to war with this moment in our attempts to grasp, push away or escape. And then to turn towards whatever is here with so much love instead.
In these monthly workshops we will practise yoga, meditation and ceremony to experience a stable body, soft heart and open mind, as we learn to receive and respond to this moment rather than react to it. We will come to trust in Love’s supple response to life’s complexity and challenge without defending our hearts. We will come to relax into moments of delight without holding on. We will liberate our own creative passion to be the Love that we are.
We will learn to live in Love.
(There will be an optional additional 30 minutes for Q&A for those who wish to remain at the end.)
