Giving Love Back To The World
A week of daily meditations, dharma teachings and interactive questions and responses exploring the theme of giving love back to the world. The way in which we meet this moment informs the quality of heart and mind that we offer to life, and these qualities change the world.

The Buddha’s insight that all things arise dependent on something else points to a universe in ongoing relational flow. When experienced directly, we know this flow to be love. Together we will open to receive the many ways we are touched by life through our connections to each other and the Earth, our ancestors and spirit guides, and our own Buddha nature. Through this practice we will experience the deepest message of sangha: that we are not alone.
Please bring a pen and paper.

Suffering is a messenger inviting us to include more of this moment with love. Rather than fussing, numbing and fixing, we pause in the midst of reactivity to breathe, come into the body, unhook from stories and feel emotions with love. This allows us to respond to life from love. Suffering returns us to love by showing us what we leave out of its limitless embrace.

Mindfulness is a practice of remaining present, open and loving to the deepest truth of this moment as it arises and dissolves. It invites us into an intimate, warm and embodied relationship with life, where each moment is sensed, felt and known with love. During the week, we explore the Buddha's four foundations of mindfulness as a full spectrum experience of body, heart and mind, infused with love. Mindfulness returns us to love's fullness.

Love never leaves us. It’s already here in each thought, sight, taste, smell, sound, sensation and movement. It's already here, resting beside each pain, celebrating each delight and expanding into the great unknown with infinite patience and warmth. It effortlessly flows into giving and receiving, and mysteriously radiates in wordless Being. Love’s presence is known in the moment we choose to recognise, allow and participate in the dance of its ongoing flavours and flow.

Embracing Challenging Emotions
December 11-15 2023
There are no negative emotions, only ones that we find challenging to embrace, like anxiety, anger, grief and fear. When we relate to them in distorted ways, their expression is indeed negative. Over this week (at a time of year where they may be particularly triggered!) we will explore how to come into a sacred relationship with each of these challenging emotions.
There is only love
From anxiety to freedom
From anger to grace
From grief to reverence
From fear to peace

Meditation is more than a practice of being present. The way in which we are present determines whether we reinforce habits of separation, or re-weave the fabric of sacredness. During this week we will explore how it feels to come into reciprocal, sacred relationship in all directions. A sacred relationship is one which is imbued with curiosity, kindness, wonder and reverence. It is also reciprocal: through exploring the sacredness of body, breath, consciousness and emotions, we discover the naturalness of appropriate response. We plant seeds of Love in a world of separation.
The Body is Sacred.
The Breath is Sacred.
The Mind is Sacred.
Emotions are Sacred.
In Sacredness, Love Responds.
